self employed sole trader

self employed sole traderThe vast majority of businesses in this country are operated as sole proprietorships - meaning that the business is generally one person trading and usually under their own name. This form of business status is preferential to most people as it is the simplest to operate and the statutory compliance is so much easier to fulfil.

As a sole trader, your only statutory requirement is the completion and filing of an annual self assessment tax return (and of course to pay any taxes that are due).

On occasion, you may also want sole trader accounts - this is a nicely bound document which shows current year trading activity with a comparison to the previous year.

So to continue my policy on transparency, the table below details the services and costs Anderson Accountancy charge for dealing with the business finances of sole traders.
